This is the raw base of the new Dixyu Seici (rational/logic alphabet) writing system I'm developing for Sceistian. It's based on sound families (like the previous one), but this time the characters themselves are also visually related to each other.

This is the first draft and it's far from perfect. Many of the characters are way too complex to be comfortably written by hand, for example. Nevertheless, it'll serve as a starting point and logical base for upcoming releases.

I like the way the letters look- almost like a futuristic-looking simplified Japanese, at least to me.

Looks simpler than Georgian. That's probably just the boxiness though.

Very true, although I think Georgian would probably be quicker to write by hand because of all the curves. More ergonomic, if you will : )

Thanks for the term, btw. It lead me to Canadian Aboriginal Syllabics ([link]), which is almost exactly how I was going to implement this. I'm glad I didn't. :)

By the way, with 'tea', I meant 'writing system'. :) What's your favourite approach to writing systems, and the best thing about them?

they are interesting in their structure and attempt to mimic a spoken system yet being imperfect for the job.
