Find the boats.

Some had built themselves a really corgeous retreat in the forest hills by the lake. Somehow the square ratio made this look very small, almost like a toy forest : )

Greets to =Konijntje ;) (this almost looks like the house I've always dreamed of)

Wow, did you use the Sepia color tone? Because, if you did, I've never seen that turn out so beautifully. I absolutely adore this photo. Fantastic. <3

I would agree with you. I do love the splash of red, it makes the little house stick out :) lovely work as usual :)

Hehe, thank you..! : ) I've always dreamed of a house on a little island covered with trees. It would have 4-3 stories and the highest floor would stick out from the forest like this house did. ; )

Never mind the brand of the camera; you can still suck as a photographer!

Wow, thank you..! My method of converting photos to sepia differ from just coloring the photo monotonously (is that a word?) to brown. I give you a tip to get started: If you have PS at hand, try using Curves and tweak the curves of the individual channels (RGB, they're in the Curves window's list) to end up in a color you like. You then see that it's possible to have different colors to different shades of color (hilights and shadows)

In addition to apologize for my syntax errors, I'd like to add that start off the conversion by turning your source image to black&white using for example the Channel Mixer (be sure to tick the Monochrome box first), which is definately my favourite tool ; )

amazing how the black frame can add so much to a photo, this is great love to monochrome feel it has, great job really.

Yeah, it does..! Black makes the eyes receive the colors in a different way, I guess =D Sometimes I just use the borders to "replace" the gray/white background that the dA's outlook provides. Thanks for stopping by..! : )
